Just a short ride from our campsite is De Drentse Koe in Ruinerwold – a playful farm where children can play outside, taste delicious ice cream, and discover the authentic farm experience.

Children can hop on tractors, pet friendly farm animals, and enjoy the large ourdoor playground full of climbing and scrambling fun. Another highlight: take a leisurely ride with the whole family on a family bike through the beautiful Ruinerwold countryside. And from mid-July to mid-October, the interactive maize maze opens – a fun adventure for all!

Not the sunniest day? No problem! The heated play barn offers hours of fun for kids. Inside, they can explore a large play arena with a climbing and sliding tower, zoom along the cable car, bounce on the bouncy castle, get creative in the construction loft, and discover the glow-in-the-dark floor downstairs, featuring panna soccer and classic Dutch games.

In December 2025, a new play barn opened with a toddler square, roller skating, laser gaming, bowling, electric tractors and a large bouncy castle. A perfect day out during your stay at our campground!
